TOWN OF LENA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 75-year-old Green Bay man was found unresponsive in a pickup truck south of Highway 141 Thursday.
Just before noon, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Dispatch Center was alerted to a pickup truck in a ditch, partially underwater at Guelig Road.
When emergency responders arrived to the scene, they found the man in truck’s cab unresponsive. They determined he was beyond medical assistance and pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation determined the truck was driving south on Highway 141 when it entered the ditch. It’s not clear what caused the man to crash.
An ongoing investigation is underway by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office and the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office.
