(LEARFIELD) – When the Milwaukee Brewers face the Cleveland Guardians tonight, look for 21-year-old Cooper Pratt to be in the lineup.
Pratt who was called up by the Brewers on Sunday is ready.
Brewers TV Analyst Craig Coshun said that the odds are in favor of Pratt being an upgrade at shortstop or third base.
Coshun was asked why 21-year-old Cooper Pratt could hold up at shortstop.
Coshun said that Pratt should be given a chance to start.
The Brewers will send Robert Gasser to the mound tonight. He is 0-3 with a 6.38 ERA.
Cleveland will counter with Slade Cecconi who is 3-5 with a 4.83 ERA.
The Brewers are 43-26 and 6-4 in their last 10 games. They currently hold a 4 1/2 game lead over the second-place St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Central. The Brewers are 23-14 at home and 23-16 against teams with .500 or better records.
Cleveland is tied for first in the American League Central with a 39-33 record with the Chicago White Sox who are 38-32. Cleveland is 4-6 in its last 10 games but has won 2 straight. They are also 16-18 against teams with .500 or better records and 20-16 on the road.

Pair of Brewers get player-of-the-week honors: Two Milwaukee Brewers share National League Player of the Week honors.
Jacob Misiorowski and Jackson Chourio were honored by Major League Baseball for their performances June 8th through the 14th.
Misiorowski threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout against the Philadelphia Phillies last Friday, striking out 15 batters.
Chourio has been on fire with the bat, with five home runs among 13 hits, good for a .448 batting average and 10 runs batted in.
Four Brewers are in the top 5 vote-getters at their positions for this year’s All-Star game.
Second baseman Brice Turang is the only one with enough support to advance to the second round after June 25th.
