(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers led the St. Louis Cardinals for a good portion of Tuesday’s game in St. Louis but the Cardinals kept battling back.
It led to this moment in the tenth inning.
That call coutesy of FOX. The grand slam by Nolan Arrenado came with 1 out off of Brewers reliever Trevor McGill.
The Brewers had chance to close out the game in the ninth inning with a 6-4 lead but closer Devin Williams couldn’t find the strike zone, allowing a hit and 3 walks in 2/3 of an inning.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy on what happened to Williams.
Murphy said that despite the loss, some good things happened.
Jackson Chourio led the Brewers with 4 hits with a triple and 2 RBI. William Contreras and Sal Frelick both had 2 hits.
