GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — If you drive, walk or bike in Green Bay, the city is looking for your input on how to make traffic safer.
A public meeting and online survey are part of efforts to develop a citywide traffic safety action plan.
The meeting is set for 4-6:30 p.m. Monday at Titletown Brewing Company, 320 N. Broadway. It will be an open house-style event, and attendees can stop by anytime to review exhibits, ask questions and provide input on safety concerns.
City leaders hope to hold a second public involvement meeting next year.
The online survey is open until Nov. 20.
“We’re committed to improving transportation safety throughout Green Bay,” city of Green Bay planning manager Kiki Sanchez said in a news release. “We want to hear from residents, businesses and others who use our roads so we can better understand safety concerns, identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to prevent serious crashes and ultimately save lives.”
