NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Four Northeast Wisconsin nonprofits are stepping up to recruit youth volunteers.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin, Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Wisconsin, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Fox Cities joined forces to launch a regional volunteer recruitment campaign, “Step Up. Show Up.”
Organizers say while the demand for services these nonprofits provide have grown, the need for volunteers has too.
The campaign aims to build awareness around the critical need for volunteer mentors and advocates, and to connect interested community members with opportunities that match their interests, schedules and desire to make a difference.
