(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers will play the rest of this season without one of their starting offensive linemen.
Tackle Zach Bako-Bewele told reporters yesterday that he suffered a torn patellar tendon during Sunday’s win over the New York Jets.
He’s set to undergo season-ending surgery tomorrow.
Coach Matt LaFleur says it’s “too early” to speculate whether wide receiver Jayden Reed who was also injured in Sunday’s win over the Jets can return his season.
LaFleur talked about putting together an offensive line given the injuries and short week.
LaFleur also talked about getting away from committing all the penalties.
LaFleur said that offensively, the team must get better at manageable down-and-distances.

Prime time matchup: Green Bay averaged 34.4 points while winning the first five games of the series, with the first coming in 1966 en route to becoming the first Super Bowl champions.
