SEOUL, Aug 31 (Reuters) – North Korea said on Monday the United States’ hostile policy remained unchanged and said its nuclear weapons were an absolute guarantee of sovereignty that would continue to be strengthened.
A statement from its Foreign Ministry carried by state media KCNA also said expecting any easing of regional tensions was “meaningless” and that North Korea’s policy toward the United States had not changed at all.
