APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A major Appleton manufacturer is moving ahead with a new expansion as it continues recovering from storm damage last month.
Miller Electric Manufacturing held a groundbreaking for an $8.4 million addition to its facility on Communication Drive. The 7,500-square-foot project is expected to add at least 15 to 20 jobs.
The company is also working to rebound after July’s storm damaged the roof at its Spencer Street location. Szafranski said, “Recovery is well underway and the team is working hard to get us back up to speed.”
Construction on the new expansion is expected to begin mid-September.
Miller Electric hopes the project will be completed by the end of July.
