On Wednesday afternoon, the Green Bay men’s soccer 2026 schedule was announced by Head Coach John O’Reilly. GB is slated to play 19 times, with the first two of those being exhibition contests in early August. Out of the 17 regular season games, the Phoenix will play eight at home and nine on the road.
“We are looking forward to our 2027 schedule, which provides excellent preparation through challenging non-conference matchups against top regional opponents,” said O’Reilly. “Notable games include contests against Saint Louis—fresh off a College Cup appearance—and Michigan State. We believe this schedule will thoroughly test our team and ensure they are fully prepared for Horizon League play.”
Green Bay’s exhibition slate will start at home against Notre Dame on August 8, followed by a road exhibition contest at Northern Michigan on August 13.
The Phoenix will open the regular season at home as well, hosting Loyola Chicago on August 20. Following, the team will enter into its longest road trip of the year. The four-game trip will include games at St. Thomas, Drake, Bradley, and Saint Louis. GB’s final early season nonconference game follows at home against Western Illinois on Sept. 5.
Green Bay’s Horizon League home opener is just a few days later, with the Phoenix hosting Northern Kentucky on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 4 p.m. The rest of the season includes the remainder of the HL slate, besides a road game at Michigan State on Oct. 27. The regular season will conclude on Nov. 3, when the Green & White travels to Milwaukee.
