(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) – St. Norbert College men’s and women’s track and field were honored with the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) All-Academic teams award, announced today by the organization.
To qualify, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.10 or higher. The women’s team finished with a grade point average of 3.47, while the men earned a 3.3 grade point average.
Eight student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Athletes list, seven of which were on the women’s team. Seniors Taylor Thiry and Amereka McPherson, juniors Madi Crossman, Eden Maranell and Katie Smith, sophomore Madison Gramblicka and freshman Kamdan Johnson were named from the women’s team.
Senior Ezra Schermacher was named from the men’s team, having recently been named a College Sports Communicators Second Team Academic All-American.
