(LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers new athletic director is Shawn Eichorst who was named to the position on Wednesday after a months long search.
Eichorst said he will take some time reacquainted with Madison.
He said that he knows football is important.
Eichorst said that familiarity with Wisconsin is important.
Eichorst said that all the change in college athletics is a challenge.
He said that he learned a ton from his time at Nebraska.
He viewed his time there as a positive.
