(MILWAUKEE BUCKS) – The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired the draft rights to Malique Lewis, the 60th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, from the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal that includes Milwaukee sending cash considerations to the Orlando Magic.
Lewis, a 6-8, 195-pound forward, appeared in 31 games (13 starts) last season with the South East Melbourne Phoenix of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). The Trinidad and Tobago native averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 21.2 minutes per game while shooting 45.2% from the field in his second NBL season. He reached double figures in scoring nine times last season, including a 23-point performance that marked the second-highest scoring game of his professional career.
The 21-year-old began playing professionally in the Spanish ACB in 2021, where he saw action in 22 games with Baloncesto Fuenlabrada over two seasons with the club. He owns Spanish ACB career averages of 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game.
