GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay police say a second man is facing charges in an alleged landlord sexual extortion case.
Paul Kumbalek, 61, of Eaton is charged with three counts of solicitation of prostitutes, one count of prostitution – sexual gratification and two counts of fourth degree sexual assault.
Kumbalek is the brother-in-law of landlord, Michael Zolper, 61, Green Bay, who was charged in February for allegedly soliciting sexual acts from his tenants in exchange for them avoiding eviction due to late or missed rent, or for bypassing background checks in order to live in one of his properties.
Kumbalek worked at Zolper’s properties and reportedly solicited sexual acts from his brother-in-law’s tenants in exchange for avoiding eviction, money, or paying rent.
As police continue their investigation, they are seeking to speak with any additional potential victims connected to Kumbalek.
The locations of Zolper’s rental properties include:
- 800 blk of August Street
- 2000 blk of Beech Tree Court
- 100 blk of Berwyn Avenue
- 1200 blk of Cedar Street
- 900 blk of Dousman Street
- 2700 blk of Finger Road
In addition, Kumbalek has also been connected to another property owner’s rentals in the following areas:
- 1600 blk of Amy Street
- 1400 blk of August Street
- 2900 blk of Beth Drive
- 800 blk of Bellevue Street
- 1600 blk of Juniper Drive
