Summer Sprang (Manitowoc Co. Jail)
MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Reckless homicide charges were requested against Summer Sprang for a drug overdose death at a Manitowoc home in February.
Sprang, 25, is expected to have court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police probable cause statement, police responded to the home on Feb. 14, finding the victim dead in a bedroom.
Sprang was known to police as a drug dealer. Police reviewed messages between the two, where Sprang indicated she could provide meth and fentanyl. Drugs found at the scene included fentanyl, the report states.
Large parts of the police report have been blacked out, however.
