(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) LA CROSSE – St. Norbert College freshman Kamdan Johnson set a new school record to lead performances for the Green Knights at the UW-La Crosse Open at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Johnson set a new St. Norbert standard in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.69 seconds, eclipsing the old mark set by Haidyn Mueller of 14.88 seconds in 2019.
Alli Clark went over 18 feet in the long jump for the first time with a mark of 18 feet 0 1/2 inches to finish fifth. Her mark of 36-7 in the triple jump is her second-best collegiate mark.
On the men’s side, Jacob Klitzke finished fourth in the shot put with a heave of 54-9 1/4 inches. Killian McGinnis advanced to the finals in the triple jump, finishing seventh at 45-10.
