(ST NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) DE PERE – St. Norbert College concluded its season with a 4-0 loss to Edgewood University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinal match at Green Bay Tennis Center.
The Green Knights (9-11) fell in two doubles matches and three singles contests as the Eagles swept the Green Knights to advance to the championship match.
Jordan Domnick and Allison Unverzagt fell at No. 1 doubles 6-2 to Evelyn Taylor and Hattie Plenty, while Madeline Diefenthaler and Anna Vechart were defeated 6-4 at No. 3 doubles by Christina Ekkela and Kaitlyn Narkis.
Domnick was downed 6-0, 6-4 to Taylor at No. 1 singles, while Unverzagt was topped 7-6, 7-5 at No. 2 by Plenty. Diefenthaler was defeated 7-5, 6-4 by Lauryn Krober at No. 6.
The other three singles matches were left unfinished as the match had already reached a team decision, per post-season protocol.
