(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost an exhibition game to the World Baseball Classic’s Great Britain team 7-3 in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday.
Great Britain took command of the game with a 5-run fifth inning that broke a 2-2 tie.
Jacob Misiorowski pitched the first 2 innings for the Brewers, allowing 1 run on a pair of hits and a walk while striking out 5.
Jared Koening allowed 5 runs on 4 hits in 1/3 of an inning in the fifth and took the loss for Milwaukee.
David Hamilton and Akil Baddoo both had home runs for Milwaukee.
The Brewers will return to Cactus League action against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday.
The game can be heard beginning at 2 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
