(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Washington Wizards beat the Milwaukee Bucks 109-99 in Washington, DC. on Thursday.
Kyshawn George led the way for Washington with 23 points, while Alex Sarr added 16 points and 17 rebounds.
The Wizards have won back-to-back games to improve to 12-and-34 this season.
Myles Turner had 21 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks in the Milwaukee loss.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers talked about Turner’s performance.
Rivers said that his team showed a fighting spirit.
Rivers also talked about having Kyle Kuzma playing point guard.
The Bucks have lost four consecutive games to drop to 18-and-28 on the year.
Next up for Milwaukee is a game on Sunday against the Boston Celtics with the game being heard beginning with the pre-game show at 2 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
