TOWN OF WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was taken into custody in connection with a domestic abuse incident Wednesday.
Authorities say the Waupaca County SWAT team was activated to execute a search warrant and arrest warrant for a “dangerous armed suspect” stemming from a domestic abuse incident.
A female victim was safely rescued from the residence and a 47-year-old Weyauwega man was arrested. Numerous criminal charges with domestic abuse enhancers were referred against the suspect.
