GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay is gearing up for the holiday season with a festive downtown kickoff.
Downtown Green Bay, Inc. and On Broadway, Inc. launched their winter event schedule Tuesday on CityDeck, showcasing dozens of events in the downtown districts.
They highlighted some new things coming this season.
New to the season is the “Brilliant Bulbs” Community Art Display showcasing local talent along the CityDeck.
On Broadway’s Christkindlmarket is expanding for its third year. There will be more workshops, programs and extended hours throughout the season. The Lodge will also be fully heated this year, giving visitors an area to warm up.
They’ve also added more rooftop igloos so more people can enjoy the experience.
And on Fridays in December, the Winter Beer and Wine Walk will return but new this year is a non-alcoholic option.
Small Business Saturday and the annual Green Bay Holiday Parade are community-favorites that will be coming up this month.
