Badgers’ Fickell is staying, hoops plays Northern Illinois

(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Wisconsin football team will not have a change in leadership this winter.

Badgers coach Luke Fickell will be back on the sideline next season, athletic director Chris McIntosh announced.

Wisconsin is 15-and-19 in three-plus seasons under Fickell, including a 2-and-6 start to this season.

The Badgers will host number 23 Washington on Saturday.

Badgers hoops back in action: The 24th-ranked Wisconsin men will host Northern Illinois.

The Badgers began the year with a 96-64 win over Campbell on Monday.
