GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Maintenance to a bridge will impact boaters and drivers in downtown Green Bay next Thursday.
The city’s public works department says there will be preventative maintenance on the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge from 9 a.m.-noon on May 16.
Boat and ship operators are asked to give two-hour advance notice to the bridgetender if they plan to travel across mile 1.58 of the Fox River.
The bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic on Dousman and Main streets. However, there will be closures of single lanes, which may lead to backups.
