(LEARFIELD) – Wisconsin’s Ben Dexheimer became the third Badger defensemen to earn All-Big Ten First Team honors on Wednesday, while Badger Luke Osburn was named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team, as well as earning All-Big Ten honorable meniton.
Dexheimer talked about being named to the first team.
He talked about where his game has grown the most.
What does he mean by simplicity?
Dexheimer credited his coaches for his development and now the chance to play pro hockey soon.
Right now, Dexheimer said that he and the Badgers are playing the waiting game for NCAA tournament bids.
Dexheimer said that if they get in, he likes their chances.
The 16 teams in the NCAA men’s hockey tournament will be announced this weekend.
Wisconsin women’s basketball in the WBIT: The Wisconsin women’s basketball team is set for postseason play.
The Badgers will face off with Oregon State tonight in the WBIT.
This is UW’s first ever appearance in the tournament. UW enters the matchup having lost 10 games in a row to fall to 13-and-17 this season.
