NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — People in a Neenah neighborhood do not need to get new mailboxes after all.
Shortly after many people in Neenah received a letter from the U.S. Postal Service saying they would need to put up curbside mailboxes, USPS says the letters were sent in error.
“There are no planned changes to the current Mode of Delivery for this area,” said a statement from Desai Abdul-Razzaaq of USPS. “We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate the community’s understanding.”
The erroneous letter was delivered to certain homes on four different streets on the east side of Neenah: S. Park Avenue, Nicolet Boulevard, E. Forest Avenue and Beaulieu Road.
