(LEARFIELD) – The University of Wisconsin signed 13 players in its 2025 class, all of which were committed to the team ahead of Wednesday.
The Badgers have the 77th rated class in the country, according to 247Sports.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell said that they have to make disciplined decisions on how much of their resources they want to go to high school players.
Fickell said that they’ll have more from the transfer portal this coming season.
He said that they have to use resources on guys that are ready to contribute right away.
Fickell talked about what quarterback Ryan Hopkins brings to the table.
According to 247Sports, Hopkins is one of the top quarterbacks in the West Coast 2026 graduating class. He is a prototypical pocket passer but has the speed to run as well
