(UW ATHLETICS) DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Wisconsin women’s basketball (6-2) fell to No. 13 Ole Miss (6-0), 65–56, on Friday at the Daytona Beach Classic.
The Badgers shot 47.8% (22–46) from the field, 41.2% (7–17) from three, and 62.5% (5–8) at the free-throw line.
Defensively, Wisconsin held Ole Miss to 37.3% (22–59) shooting, 21.1% (4–19) from beyond the arc, and 65.4% (17–26) at the line.
Notes to Know:
- Destiny Howell led Wisconsin with 14 points, including a season-best 4-for-5 from three.
- The Badgers won the rebounding battle 32–31 and held a 26–19 advantage on the defensive glass.
