(LEARFIELD) – Wisconsin Badgers guard John Blackwell’s name is on this season’s John R. Wooden Award Top 50 Watch List.
Blackwell is also on the College Player of the Year Watch list, the preseason All-Big Ten team, and the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Watch List.
UWBadgers-dot-com reports that he’s averaging 19-and-a-half points a game after putting up almost 16 per outing last season.
Blackwell and his Badgers teammates try to stay unbeaten when they meet BYU on the road Friday afternoon.
