(GREEN BAY PACKERS) – The Green Bay Packers have placed center/guar Elgton Jenkins on injured reserve and signed linebacker Kristian Welch from the practice squad to the active roster. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.
Welch, a sixth-year player out of the University of Iowa, has spent the regular season on the Packers’ practice squad and active roster, appearing in two games. The Iola, Wis., native originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent and has played for the Packers (2023, 2025), Baltimore Ravens (2020-22, 2024) and Denver Broncos (2024), appearing in 74 regular-season games with two starts and recording 13 tackles (six solo) on defense and 28 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams.
Packers vs Giants notes: Afte two straight home games, the Green Bay Packers will go on the road to take on the New York Giants.

- DL Micah Parsons has played against the Giants eight times and each time he was on the winning side.
Parsons has registered 13 QB hits, six tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks against New York, with all of the sacks coming in the last five times he has faced the Giants.
His 4.5 sacks against the Giants since 2022 are the third most over that span. Parsons last played the Giants in Week 13 of 2024 and registered four QB hits, 1.5 sacks and a tackle for a loss. - Between Sunday’s game at the Giants through the Nov. 27 game at the Detroit Lions, it will be three games over a 12-day span for Green Bay.
- Starting with Sunday’s game, the next three games will come against the NFC North over a span of 15 days.
- After hosting the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, the Packers will play at the Lions on Thanksgiving, marking the third straight year that Green Bay has played on Thanksgiving, including the second time over that span in Detroit. The following week, the Packers begin December at home against the Chicago Bears in Week 14.
