(LEARFIELD) – Defenses dominated Monday Night Football as the Green Bay Packers lost 10-7 to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
The game was scoreless at halftime.
The Eagles had a 10-0 lead in the fourth period before running back Josh Jacobs put Green Bay on the scoreboard with a six-yard run.
The Packers had a final shot at tying the score in the closing seconds, but a Brandon McManus field goal effort from 64 yards out was no good.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that his team battled.
LaFleur said that they came in wanting to establish the run game.
LaFleur talked about Jordan Love fumbling with the Packers in field goal range.
LaFleur was asked why since it’s mid-season has the offense struggled so much.
He talked about not being able to fine the answers on offense.
Love who finished 20-of-36 for 176 yards was asked how they can turn things around.
And why the issues with the offense haven’t been solved.
What does Love see that’s wrong with the offense?
Josh Jacobs carried the ball 21 times for 74 yards and caught 5 passes for 33 yards.
Jacobs said that the team had too many miscues.
And, yes, the loss is frustrating.
Green Bay tries to snap the losing streak at New York against the Giants next Sunday.
