(UW ATHLETICS) MADISON – The Wisconsin football team dropped a 34-0 contest to top-ranked Ohio State on Saturday afternoon at Camp Randall Stadium.
The Badgers (2-5, 0-4 Big Ten) got out to a slow start as the Buckeyes (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) ended the first quarter with a 17-0 lead.
UW kept the Buckeyes off the scoreboard in the second quarter as OSU took a 17-0 lead into the break.
The Badgers were able to hold the Buckeyes to a field goal on the opening possession of the second half. However, they were able to add a touchdown late in the third quarter to extend their lead to 27-0.
A fourth-quarter touchdown from Ohio State marked the final score of the game, ending at 34-0.
Omillio Agard was a standout defender today, ending the game with 6 tackles, one sack, and a pass breakup. Freshman Cooper Catalano also got in on the action, adding 4 tackles.
