(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers have their backs against the wall.
Milwaukee trails the Dodgers two games to none entering game three late this afternoon.
Manager Pat Murphy told reporters Wednesday that the team’s pitching plan is “under construction,” with Jacob Misiorowski and José Quintana as options to pitch the bulk of the game.
Milwaukee hasn’t looked like the team that won all six games between the two during the regular season.
It has five hits and two runs in two games, good for a team batting average of .086.
To get back home with a chance, the Brewers have to win at least two of the three games on the West Coast.
The game can be heard beginning with the pre-game show at 4:30 p.m. and the first pitch at 5:08 on 97.5 and 1360 WTAQ.
Two Brewers Named Gold Glove Finalists: A pair of Brewers are up for some hardware.
Milwaukee second baseman Brice Turang and right fielder Sal Frelick were named one of three finalists for their respective position’s Gold Glove Award.
Both players won the award last season and could be the first Milwaukee players to win in back-to-back seasons since Cecil Cooper in 1979 and 1980.
