(LEARFIELD) – If the Green Bay Packers haven’t had enough problems with special teams, now kicker Brandon McManus has popped up on the team’s injury report.
The injury involves his quad muscle and McManus talked about what happened in Wednesday’s practice.
McManus said that he had this happen before.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the injury was a major concern but McManus wasn’t willing to go there.
How did McManus feel Thursday?
Will he test things out before Sunday?
Love bites: With the bye week having gone by, the Green Bay Packers face a long stretch of games. Packers quarterback Jordan Love talked about that on Thursday.
With 8 TD’s, 1 int., 1000 passing yards and a 69% completion percentage, what does he think about his start?
Love talked about the impressive start to the season of wide receiver Romeo Doubs.
Love also talked about getting Christian Watson back.
Odds and ends: Matt LaFleur says the Packers have yet to have played complementary football for four quarters. Packers tight end Tucker Kraft spoke to that.
When the Packers play the Bengals on Sunday, they’ll be facing quarterback Joe Flacco who was acquired earlier this week by the Bengals from the Cleveland Browns for the second time in 3 weeks. Packers safety Xavier McKinney said that the advantage of that goes both ways.
The Packers and Bengals kick off at 3:25 on Sunday.
