(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Red 7-4 at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Saturday.
Despite the loss, the Brewers clinched home field advantage throughout the National League playoffs after the Minnesota Twins beat the Philadelphia Philies.
In the loss, Cincinnati scored 6 runs in the third inning off of Brewers starting pitcher Robert Gasser and Jacob Misiorowski who was making his first relief appearance of the season.
Gasser took the loss for the Brewers to fall to 0-2.
Andrew Abbott got the win for Cincinnati to go to 10-7.
Jackson Chourio hit his 21st home run of the season.
The 2 teams play their regular season finale this afternoon.
