(LEARFIELD) – Three San Diego Padres pitchers shut out the Brewers on four hits Tuesday night, 7-0.
San Diego scored four times in the bottom of the first, and Milwaukee never threatened.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about getting shutout.
He said that Chad Patrick will start the series finale and not Quinn Priester.
Murphy said that there was a reason that he only used Bruce and Tobias Myers. It was to rest arms for the playoffs.
Bruce Zimmerman started and took the loss in his first Major League start of the 2025 season.
The Brewers will try to salvage the last game of the three-game series this afternoon.
