(LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur spent a portion of his Monday news conference looking back at Sunday’s 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns and talking about what went wrong.
For example, there were the special teams mistakes like the blocked field goal.
Then there was offensive lineman Zach Tom coming back and playing and getting hurt on the first play.
LaFleur talked about thinking Tom could return and then it turned out he couldn’t.
He said that despite that, he has not los faith in the Packers medical staff.
LaFleur was also asked if they are spreading Jordan Morgan too think, moving him all over the offensive line instead of letting him settle in in one spot.
Currently, the Packers are struggling to run the ball and, if they don’t hold up well to pressure, then what? LaFleur responded to that.
He was asked what good can come from this.
LaFleur also taked about the player mentality of keeping things week to week when, for example, Rasheed Walker was saying they could go undefeated on the season.
The Packers travel to Dallas this week to play the Cowboys on Sunday night football.
