(LEARFIELD) – Freddy Peralta won his league-leading 17th game Tuesday night at home against the Los Angeles Angels.
Christian Yelich pounded his 29th home run and drove in three in the 9-2 victory.
Peralta gave up only two hits and a single run in his six innings on the mound, walking two while striking out 10.
Peralta talked about how he did.
The win dropped the Brewers’ “magic number” to seven.
Yelich talked about the magic number being down to 7.
Now with 29 home runs and 99 RBI, Yelich said that he’s not a numbers chaser.
