APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton North high school’s football stadium got a glowing makeover.
The school says new lights were recently installed ahead of the season and as part of the process, the bulbs will remain on all day and night through the upcoming weekend.
The bulbs will be left continuously on for a required “burn-in period” which helps stabilize the color quality and extend the lifespan of the lights.
There is no need for the public to call the district, 911 or the police department. The district says it already notified the Appleton Police Department of situation.
