(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers’ offense that had a 56-hit barrage over the weekend managed just three hits against Atlanta Monday.
Milwaukee still won 3-1.
Left fielder Isaac Collins provided all the scoring Quinn Priester needed with a three-run homer.
Priester held the Braves to two hits in seven innings while earning his 11th win.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Priester.
Murphy said that it’s fun watching Priester succeed.
He said the Priester’s off-speed pitches were working.
Trevor Megill ran his save total to 25.
Murphy also talked about Megill who had not pitched in a week.
Freddy Peralta starts Tuesday’s second game of the series.
