MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Milwaukee man will spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering and dismembering a 19-year-old woman.
Maxwell Anderson, 34, was sentenced Friday for killing Sade Robinson. In June, a jury found him guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, hiding a corpse and arson.
Anderson will not be eligible for parole.
Prosecutors say Anderson killed Sade Robinson after a first date, disposed of her body parts in various locations and set fire to her car.
Soon after Robinson vanished in early April 2024, police discovered a severed human leg at Warnimont Park. Additional body parts that belonged to Robinson — including a torso, foot and two arms — were later recovered.
Still photos taken from video surveillance footage show Anderson and Robinson arriving at a bar and restaurant for a date. The pair can be seen sitting at the bar and later leaving together.
Court filings say when investigators searched Anderson’s home, they collected swabs of stains and women’s clothing, some hidden in the basement. Prosecutors say GPS records place Anderson at Robinson’s home the night she disappeared.
