
GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man is in custody following a shooting in Grand Chute over the weekend that allegedly stemmed from a road rage incident.
Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, officers received a complaint about damage to property stemming from a road rage incident between two vehicles in the area of N. Lynndale Drive and W. Edgewood Drive.
The 911 caller said his hand was injured and his vehicle damaged in the incident. Police confirmed both the injury and the vehicle damage were caused by gunfire.
After identifying the other vehicle involved in the incident, officers obtained a search warrant for a home on N. Milkweed Trail in Grand Chute.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office executed that warrant at approximately 1 p.m. Monday and arrested a 22-year-old Grand Chute man. He was taken to the Outagamie County Jail on a recommended charge of first-degree reckless injury.
