(MILWAUKEE BUCKS) – The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Gary Harris.
The 6-4, 205-pound Michigan State product has played in 618 games (446 starts) in 11 seasons with Orlando and Denver and holds career averages of 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.0 minutes per game while shooting 36.9% from three-point range. In his last five seasons with Orlando, he recorded 7.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.5 minutes per game.
“We are excited to welcome Gary to Milwaukee,” said Bucks general manager Jon Horst. “Gary’s leadership and experience will provide further depth and stability to our backcourt, and his extensive playoff background will be instrumental during the postseason. We are thrilled for Gary to be a Buck.”
Originally selected by Chicago with the 19th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Fishers, Indiana, native has seen action in 39 playoff games (32 starts) in his career, accruing postseason averages of 8.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steal in 29.2 minutes per game.
