OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An intensive drug investigation yielded one arrest and the seizure of more than 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine.
The months-long investigation was worked by the Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit, the Lake Winnebago Metropolitan Group and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials executed search warrants Monday at two residences — one in Oshkosh and one in the town of Nekimi. 1.57 pounds of meth, a vehicle and $675 in cash were seized.
A 49-year-old Oshkosh man was taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Winnebago County Jail on a probation and parole hold. Officials say criminal charges are forthcoming.
