(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers weren’t able to protect a two-run lead, falling to Cincinnati Tuesday night by a 4-2 score.
That ended Milwaukee’s eight-game winning streak.
Sal Frelick had a home run, and Christian Yelich extended his hitting streak to 10 games in a row by singling twice.
TJ Friedl saved the game for the Reds by making a leaping catch on Jake Bauers’ long fly in the ninth.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Bauers gave that ball a ride.
Murphy said that he wasn’t sure if the ball would clear the fence or not.
Murphy said that Freddy Peralta who started and went 6 innings, pitched great.
The teams wrap up the series today with the pre-game starting at 11:05 and the first pitch at 11:40 on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
