SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A federal grand jury has indicted a Sheboygan man on charges of producing and possessing child pornography.
In a news release Thursday, authorities said Nolan M. Pitsch, 31, was indicted May 13 on five counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
The indictment alleges Pitsch involved “multiple minor children” in his child pornography production scheme.
Pitsch knowingly employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced multiple minor children to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct, knowing and having reason to know that such visual depiction was and would be produced and transmitted using materials that have been mailed, shipped, and transported in and affecting interstate and foreign commerce by any means, including by computer.
Additionally, Pitsch is accused of possessing child pornography images of children under the age of 12.
If convicted of any of the production charges, Pitsch faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum 30-year sentence. If convicted of the possession charge, he faces up to 20 years imprisonment.
Pitsch also faces up to a $250,000 fine on all of the counts.
