(LEARFIELD) – After being held scoreless for two games, the Milwaukee Brewers erupted for nine runs in a 9-5 win at Cleveland Wednesday afternoon.
First baseman Rhys Hoskins went 4-for-4 with a homer and five runs batted in.
Sal Frelick went deep, and Jake Bauers knocked in two more runs.
Hoskins was asked how important was this win after having another team meeting on Tuesday?
Rookie Logan Henderson earned his second career victory with five solid innings.
Henderson said that even though he got the win, his pitches are still a work in progress.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Henderson.
Murphy said that they may have found something in him.
Milwaukee is off Thursday, then Chad Patrick starts Friday’s home game against the Minnesota Twins.
