(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers made the four runs they scored in the first inning stand in a 4-3 win over Houston Tuesday night.
Rookie Chad Patrick claimed his second pitching victory, and Tylor Megill netted save number four.
Patrick talked about going 6 2/3 inninings and allowing 3 runs on 4 hits while striking out 6.
Patrick talked about his outing.
Patrick said his big mistake was serving up a 3-run homer to Brendan Rodgers.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Patrick gave them the chance to win.
A home run by Jake Bauers was the big blast.
Murphy also talked about Bauers’ home run.
The Astros made it close with three runs in the seventh inning.
Quinn Priester is the starter this afternoon as Milwaukee goes for the series sweep.
