(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Bucks took a 30-13 lead after 1 quarter last night in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series against the Indiana Pacers.
Indiana kept chipping away and eventually won 119-118 in overtime to win the series 4-1 and put and end to the Bucks’ season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo did all he could with a triple-double of 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 13 assists.
After the game, Antetokounmpo and Tyrese Haliburton’s father John got into a confrontation on the court.
Antetokounmpo was asked if he thinks he can win another NBA Championship in Milwaukee after a third straight first round exit.
Bucks Doc Rivers talked about losing after having a 20-point lead in the first quarter.
Rivers talked about other things that went wrong.
Gary Trent Jr. scored 33, but he also had two critical turnovers late.
Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton scored the winning bucket with 1-point-3 seconds left.
