(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) NEW YORK – The New Yor Yankees took down the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 in the season opener for both teams on Thursday.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about opening day and the loss.
Freddy Peralta suffered the loss despite striking out eight batters over five innings.
Peralta talked about taking the loss.
He also talked about seeing former teammate Devin Williams getting the save for the Yankees.
For the Brewers, the big highlight was Vinny Capra getting his first major league start and hitting his first home run.
Milwaukee continues the three-game series Saturday afternoon.
