(247NEWSSOURCE) DAYTON, OHIO – North Carolina steamrolled San Diego State 95-68 in the First Four of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in Dayton.
RJ Davis paced UNC with 26 points and Seth Trimble scored 16 points off the bench.
The Tar Heels have now locked up the 11-seed in the South Region and will challenge six-seed Ole Miss on Friday.
Nick Boyd and Wayne McKinney the Third led San Diego State with 12 points apiece.
The Aztecs finish the season at 21-and-10.
