(LEARFIELD) – Guard John Blackwell connected on four 3-pointers while scoring 24 points as his Badgers thumped Washington Tuesday night 88-62 in Madison.
The game was one-sided, giving Wisconsin six wins in its last seven games.
Blackwell talked about the Badgers’ fast start.
Badgers coach Greg Gard said that the team played much better in this win compared to Oregon on Saturday.
Gard noted that there were only 5 turnovers for his team.
Gard talked about overall about the win.
He said that the key was settling in against Washington’s 1-3-1 zone.
John Tonje added 13 points and Steven Crowl and Xavier Amos were good for another dozen apiece.
The Badgers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday at Michigan State.
